We wash our hands a lot in our household. We have found that the best way to keep our family healthy is by washing our hands on a regular basis. To get a good hand cleansing run your hand under the water, turn off the water, scrub your hands and forearms with soap and then scrap your fingernails inside the palm of each hand. To get a good clean you should scrub for at least a minute. A great idea for kids is to sing the ABC song at a normal pace while scrubbing, then rinse and dry. I received the cedar and sage handcrafted soap and the lavender sugar scrub. Both items are a huge hit in my house. The Lusa products are indeed lovely. I may seem biased because I sell them, but actually I sell them because I love them, not the reverse. For those who worry about cost, you alluded to a great strategy–put your nicer products where they will have the greatest impact, for example, the guest bath. And don’t forget to treat yourself well. Just like wouldn’t balk at buying a bottle of aspirin because your head hurts, you shouldn’t balk at buying one of the great scrubs that could keep you legs from being dry and scratchy the whole winter (as I just discovered).
