One Sydney Road: Eat Your Greens Tea Towel Giveaway

Today’s giveaway is from One Sydney Road and one lovely reader will win a fantastic Eat Your Greens Tea Towel. Wouldn’t this organic cotton towel printed with water-based inks be the perfect addition to your kitchen this spring? Not to mention, it will be a constant reminder to eat healthy!

One Sydney Road is owned by Piper who is a self-confessed corporate dropout and dreamer, who is obsessed with pillows, tea towels + all linens!  Piper says the concept behind One Sydney Road is simple: fresh, inspired finds for you + your home. All of which are carefully curated and comprised of new, handmade + eco-friendly goods all designed by indie artists from around the world! Think: One Sydney Road is a place that believes in eco-modern meets vintage!

The Sweet Greens’ family will be moving in the next couple of months and One Sydney Road is full of lovely things that will perfect for our new space. Some of my favorites are the Just Stripes Tea Towel Set, Market Basket, (perfect for the farmer’s market!) and the grass pillows. There are just so many fabulous pieces that would really brighten up your home this spring!

Sweet Greens: 100 Best Organic Living Blogs

Sweet Greens has been named one of 100 Best Organic Living Blogs of 2011.
ps: Last Saturday, Eben and I spent the day picnicking at the park. A large portion of the day was spent on a blanket – chit chatting and noshing on organic apples. Don’t you just love days like that?

I love this table made from reclaimed woods – with a built in succulent garden by Far Out Flora! I love succulents and this really has boosted my creative energy today!

Wouldn’t this be perfect for an outdoor patio or balcony?

Happy Earth Day!

Hello Friends. Happy Earth Day! How are you celebrating! We did our beach clean-up yesterday afternoon, since Mr. Sweet Greens had to work today. We were amazed by the amounts of plastic that we found when cleaning up the beach — mostly in the form of cups, straws and water bottles! However, we also found several single shoes? And a large quantity of kite string, bottle caps and plastic bags. It felt good to have an active part in cleaning up our beach and a couple of people even decided to help out!

I want to thank all of you for participating in my Earth Day Giveaway Week. Also, a huge thank you to this year’s sponsors – Organic Valley, Zutano, Cascadian Farm, Tiny Prints and Spoonk Space.

* The winner of the $520 Organic Valley Food Giveaway is Crystal Miron!

** And the winner of my Green Goody Bag for Earth Day is Belynda Cleveland who said, “ My Daughter and I are going to plant a tree, pick up trash in the park and eat some local veggies!”

Remember, you still have time to enter these giveaways:

– $100 Zutano Organic Children’s Clothing Shopping Spree
– Cascadian Farm Cereal Gift Set
– $50 Tiny Prints Gift Certificate
– $79 Spoonk Space Eco-Friendly Acupressure Mat

To all my friends and family who celebrate Easter – I hope you enjoy a chocolate egg or two! And to all of my family and friends who celebrate Passover, I hope you enjoyed your family and a matzo-ball or two! If you don’t celebrate either — I hope you enjoy a super lovely spring day!

Have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday.
