Have A Lovely Weekend + A Few Green Things
Hello, friends. How has your week been? Yesterday, my ever-so-lovely friend Cameron baked me a dozen cupcakes for my birthday! When I met her at the door she was carrying one lone cupcake and had icing on her hands, jeans, sandals and handbag. She announced that eleven of them fell on the asphalt in the parking lot. Ha. Cupcakes or no cupcakes – the best part of the day was seeing her! And don’t worry, that single sweet carrot-cake-loveliness was devoured with a fantastic glass of wine – I saved the mister only a teeny tiny bit.
Tonight, the mister is taking me out to celebrate the big 34. Do you know what that means? It means that Grandpa Sweet Greens is staying with Eben, so we can go to a no-we-don’t-need-a-kids-meal resaurant. There will probably even be candlelight. Perfection.
While I get ready for my big night out, here are a few things I have wanted to share with you all week:
– I find water sculpture fascinating. You will too.
– I am smitten with these color theory valentines. Do I still have time to make them?
– I don’t know what I love more the Double Decker bus or that’s its a vintage boutique.
– Orange is my favorite color. I want to pick up a pair of these shoes for Eben.
– All I have to say is Me-ow!
– I would SO take a shower with a penguin. You?
– OK. My next house has to have a tree house. Period.
– I have to try to make my own wire sculptures. Brilliant!
I hope you have a lovely Valentine’s weekend with your sweetheart. I will see you on Monday.
xo,
Sweet Greens
