I love Petit Collage – the colors and sweet designs are just too sweet to resist. These lovely wood art pieces are printed on sustainable maple veneer and super-affordable starting at only $15. I love the idea of doing a wall of the city or animal designs.

Which is your favorite?

I just saw these recyclable, biodegradable rolls of perforated cotton placemats at A + R Store. They are washable and can be used over and over again, and when they wear out, you can toss them in your composter.

What do you think of this idea?
Do you think that it would be useful for picnics, lunchboxes or to take with you on the go?
Or do you think they are wasteful and using reusable, washable, long-lasting placemats and napkins would be a better alternative?

Living in Florida, solar energy just makes sense – it is almost always sunny here. Eben’s school has solar panels (intro photo) – next I would love if our home did.
