The play kitchen is a wonderful, albeit big-ticket, toy for children to engage in pretend play — one of the most important types of play for children. So I found seven eco-friendly play kitchens that give kids a chance to be creative, use their imaginations, make meaningful connections, engage in role play and express themselves. Regardless of gender, children will spend countless hours fine tuning their motor skills while preparing, cooking, baking, serving and cleaning up in a pretend kitchen. Nothing is sweeter than your little one asking what you would like to “order” and then watching them “make” it.
