We celebrate a winter holiday at our home that is a combination of Hanukkah, Christmas and Winter Solstice. Mr. Sweet Greens was raised in a family that celebrated Hanukkah. I was raised in a family that celebrates Christmas. We both love, love, love Winter Solstice, so, we mixed everything together for our own special winter holiday.
With that said, Hanukkah starts in 4 days, Eben is super excited. Wouldn’t this Arroyo Modern Hanukkah Menorah from Amenity home make this Hanukkah bright and beautiful? I love that it is handcrafted with hand hewn FSC certified walnut. The candles are hand-poured soy candles that are beautiful with a clean, pure scent.
This would light up my 8 lovely nights.
Do you celebrate Hanukkah?
What do you think of the Arroyo Modern Hanukkah Menorah?

That is very lovely!
My family celebrates Christmas, so I really don’t know anything about Hanukkah.
It sounds like you guys are full of the holiday spirit π
Love it! But I wonder how long it takes the candles to burn, you know how you’re not supposed to blow them out?
We do a mix at my house too. I just blogged about it today. Check out my green beauty site if you have a sec π

Hi Scenthive,
I think it is kind of fun to do a mix. Good question on how the candles burn out. Hmmm?

Hi Angie,
It is, isn’t it?

Hi The Eclectic Element,
We definitely have the holiday spirit around here.

Sweet Greens.
My boys go to a Montessori school…they celebrate all Religons…which I think is neat.
They do have a Menorah and play the Dreidel game during this time.
We are not Jewish….but, love that my boys respect and love to learn about other cultures.
my roommate and i also try to do a fusion thing during the holidays and this fits our aesthetic perfectly! too bad it’s $314 π
i’ll hsow it to him, though and you never know, maybe if it goes on sale, it can replace our brushed aluminum menorah.
What a gorgeous and simple menorah. I don’t know what ours are made of, and we’ve had lead issues with my daughter in the past, so we don’t let her touch our current ones. This one would be wonderful as she could touch (not while the candles are lit, mind you π
Happy Hanukkah!
Hi Jen,
Isn’t it lovely? We have the metal ones as well. I think this would just make the holiday even more lovely. Have a Happy Hanukkah!

Sweet Greens.
