This weeks Earth Friendly Etsy shop is Laksa Ware. Laksaware was inspired by a bowl of curry Laksa while the owner Bernie and her husband were in Malaysia. While her husband was busy devouring his bowl of Laksa and getting dots of curry splashed on his white shirt, they came up with the idea of having a “Laksa T-Shirt”. Hence, the name Laksaware. Isn’t that fun?
Bernie enjoys crafting, painting and cooking – they have always been a favorite pastime for her because it is relaxing and healing. Her Etsy shop is filled with some of her favorite pieces created with heart and care – my personal favorites are the organic pakucho cotton face scrubbies.
Laksaware has been so kind to offer ONE of my lovely readers a cherry berry scrubbie. This is the perfect eco-friendly scrubbie for your dishes, sinks, oven-top, refrigerator, bathtubs, or floors and works great on tough stains on dishes even without soap. (Also great for scrubbing feet!) One side is soft and the other is rough and great for scrubbing. These cuties are handmade by Bernie and no two scrubbies will be exactly alike. They are machine washable too so you can use them over and over again!
