Do you plan Valentine surprises for your little ones on Valentine’s Day? Every year I make a Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt for Eben. I write rhyming clues on several hearts and hide them all over our home and yard. He will find the first clue on the front door when he gets home from school. He has to follow the clues on each heart to find the next heart. Once he finds all of the hearts, there will be a stack of presents ‘books’ for him to open. It is a lovely tradition that we both look forward to. So much fun.

My son and I like to take winter adventure walks and collect things we find. The felted hearts would look sweet laying around the little boy gnome, which my little boy would find atop his pine needle treasure on Valentine’s morning.

The Love Gnomes are soooo cute! They would certainly brighten my day, but I would surprise my stepdaughter with them. She’s going through an exceptionally tough time right now with some major health problems and lengthy hospital stays, so I am always looking for ways to brighten her day!
