Hello, Friends! Happy President’s Day! Do you have the day off? As you probably already know my parents have been in town since last Tuesday. We have literally spent every single day at the beach and I have the sun tan to prove it. Ha!
The first day that she was here, my mom decided to give paddleboarding on the intracoastal a try (doesn’t she look cute?) She did an excellent job and didn’t fall even once – she’s a natural. Yesterday, the seas were very calm, so Mr. Sweet Greens and I decided to paddle pretty far out into the ocean. When we came back, my mom decided to give a try and a combination of the wind and waves slammed the paddleboard into her knee. Today, she can barely walk – what a horrible way to end a great vacation!
So, today we are planning on staying home to watch movies and hoping that her knee starts to feel better.
