Hello Dear Readers, how was your week? Was it chilly, like mine? I am very much ready for summer, can you tell? Winter is lovely but I am ready for the heat.
What are your weekend plans? Tonight Eben and I are on our own, until Mr. Sweet Greens gets off work @ 7:30 pm. After dinner, we are going to catch the bus and go to ‘The Chocolate Cafe’. Shhhh…Eben doesn’t know this, its a surprise. The Chocolate Cafe is a lovely little place in our old town. It has been voted as Fort Collins Best Place for Dessert and Eben has been dying to go there. Eben loves, loves, loves chocolate so I thought this would be a lovely little surprise. Who wouldn’t love to hang out at a place called ‘The Chocolate Cafe’, no?
After our dessert date, we are meeting Mr. Sweet Greens at the theatre to see the 2009 Grammy nominated Brady Rymer and the Little Band that could. Think American roots-rock with a feel good R&B foundation. We love music and the theatre so this should be fun, right?
The rest of the weekend should be pretty laid back and relaxing. I am thinking of plenty of time next to the fire, family reading time, a visit to our lovely library and maybe a stop by my favorite fancy grocery store.

Would I visit a chocolate cafe? Hmmm…HECK YEAH! Sounds absolutely heavenly! Was it as good as it sounds? Hope you had a great time at the theatre and are enjoying your weekend thus far! As you know, I had plans to take the dogs to the park, but unfortunately it’s a very overcast/rainy day today. Hoping the weather clears up by tomorrow. 🙂

The Chocolate Cafe was amazing. We had so much fun, Eben was super surprised. The chocolate cake in the upper right hand corner of the picture above is what he ordered for us. Delicious. Overcast and rainy? Boo. Our weather is cold and overcast here as well. I think we will spend the afternoon at the library and my fave fancy grocery store to pick up something good to eat. I hope you weekend brightens up.

how nice! we have a restaurant here that sounds similar to your Chocolate Cafe…can’t remember the name LOL but everything on the menu, be it sweet or savory, has chocolate in it. I have not been before but you are making me think I should go! Our weekend was nice..Friday night a night in watching a movie and eating Chipotle; Saturday we went to Cincinnati to Ikea to get me a desk chair and to Torrid to see what it was all about and ended the day with a party at our friend Andre’s house, and yesterday was snuggle day!

You should definitely go. Eben and I had a lovely time. You went to IKEA?!? Lucky! I love, love, love IKEA, we are suppose to get one in Denver soon. I can. not. wait! I am glad you had a lovely weekend full of fun, love and friends.
