Hello, Friends! How are you? Tonight is Eben’s first middle school dance – Oh my goodness! My baby is growing up – you guys! We have been so busy, his Halloween costume was put on the back burner. Last night, Eben and I spent 3 hours creating and sewing his costume using pieces from an old costume and leftover fabric. It was intense! We were able to pull it off and he is super excited – I can’t wait to share photos, stay tuned for those on Monday.
Tomorrow, our best friends are having a dinner party in their new home! I can’t wait to celebrate it with them! Then, on Sunday, the entire family is gathering at Morikami Japanese Gardens to celebrate the mister’s 40th birthday! The big 4-0! It should be a fun weekend packed with fun, friends and family – I am really looking forward to it. While I wrap up the mister’s birthday gifts, here are a few green things to entertain you through the weekend:
– Pottery Barn’s organic bedding is on sale, 40% off!
– As a avid bike rider, I love this silent bike alarm app!
– I love these mini modular systems for growing veggies indoors.
– Still wondering what the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is?
– Have you seen this adorable stick figure baby costume – made with LED lights!
– Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte Waffles via Minimalist Baker – yes, please!
I hope you have a cozy weekend – I was able to wear my riding boots and a sweater today! Hooray for the low 80’s! Ha!
xo,
Sweet Greens
