It was super-duper hot yesterday, here in Florida. So hot in fact, it was the perfect time for ice cream. Alas, we didn’t have any in our freezer. Since we were getting ready for an afternoon splash in the pool, it wasn’t a good time for a bicycle ride to the store. I then remembered making ice cream as a child in a coffee can. We didn’t have a coffee can available, but I was able to find a couple of can containers in our recycling bin. We spent the next 1/2 hour together making a simple, yummy vanilla ice cream that we enjoyed together before heading out to the pool.
