Does your family celebrate Valentine’s Day? I recently wrote about great ways to green your Valentine’s Day on my blog at Cascadian Farm. There you will find resources for Eco friendly Valentines, Gifts that Give Back, Holistic Gifts, Fair Trade Organic Chocolates, Organic Flowers, Ways to green your Valentine’s Day dinner, engagement tips and fun handmade gifts for kids, such as Olivia the Owl above.
I made Olivia {The Woodland Valentine Owl} to give to Eben last year on Valentine’s Day. She is made using pieces of worn out clothing from our closets. Olivia has become one of Eben’s prized possessions and she has her own spot on his bed. I wish for Olivia to always stay in our family and that one day, Eben might give her to his own child on Valentine’s Day.
I would love if you stop by my blog at Cascadian Farm and read my article, ‘My Funny Green Valentine‘ and leave me your thoughts.
How about you lovely readers, do you make Valentine’s Day gifts for your children?
What have you made in the past?
What will you be making this year?
I would love to hear about and see your creations.
XO.
