I have been wondering what living green means to you? So, to get started I wanted to share with all of you, what living green means to me. I think green living means finding the connection with nature that we have somehow lost. I feel that we consume more resources than our Earth can provide and that this balance needs to be restored. I feel that it our responsibility to make choices that are sustainable for our environment and by doing so, we can live in harmony with nature for generations to come. Life is full of decisions that need to be made and I always try to think of what impact my decision will have the environment, my community and my family. I feel that a lot of people are unaware of the impact that their decisions have, not only on their own lives but on the lives of everyone and everything on Earth. I love to share my ideas on how making simple green choices can have a major impact on our environment and well being. I think it is lovely to interact with others that share the passions that I have for the environment. I am a mother who wants to promote a green lifestyle that benefits us all, including our Earth. I think that because I am a regular mother who knows what it is like to balance a healthy lifestyle that is beneficial to my family and the planet. I understand that deciding to take the green path in life can feel overwhelming and confusing, but by taking it one green step at a time, you will see that living a green lifestyle can be simple, rewarding and fun. I am hear with you, every single step of the way.
Back to my original questions – what does green living mean to you?

I could not agree more with your post and your definition. I truly believe that living green is living human. If we do not take care of the planet that hosts us, what will we do? A lot of humans live their life in a vacuum and have no concept of nature or how it affects their every waking moment. WE are nature. Often humans forget that.

Hi Angie,
I agree. It does seem like a lot of people are completely disconnected from nature. I really do believe that every decision that we make should start with the question, ‘How will this effect the environment?’

Great post. I think living green is about realizing everything we do is connected to the larger world, and making the choice to act in ways that protect the world instead of destroying it. It’s really inspiring to see how many people truly care about making the choice to live green now…
Hi Nexyoo,
I agree. If everyone thought this way, think of where we could be.
