More Camping Love.

Since we are chatting about camping and since I possibly put you in the mood for summer. Here are some Eco friendly camping options that just made me smile this morning. I love all of these options because they are much more compact, use far less gasoline and are sustainably made, compared to the huge diesel pushing class A motor homes.

Tonke Campers are hand built in Holland, which means lots of teak wood, clear glass and chrome. Not to mention that you can just stop anytime to take a nap, or have tea while enjoying the scenery. Plus for some reason, it reminds me of my grandmother. {Love}

Did you know that nearly 70% of all Airstreams ever produced are still on the road? How is that for long lasting? I also love that nearly every piece of an Airstream is recyclable. Plus they are so cute, right?

The EarthRoamer XV-JP is an awesome expedition vehicle built on a Jeep platform. It has solar powered batteries, and a hot water tank, which means showers. Yes, it has a shower and a toilet. When Mr. Sweet Greens sees this, he is going to want it. He loves a Jeep and this would be the perfect excuse to buy one, except for the $110,000 price tag.

Our family loves, loves, loves to go camping. Ever since the sun started to come out here in Colorado, the sunny 40º weather has us thinking about springtime and camping. Did I just talk about 40º weather as if it we summer? Crazy. Anyhow, since we have several 3 days camping adventures and one 10 day planned so far, we are seriously considering purchasing a camper. The only problem is, we need one that is small enough to be towed by our car, that will fit in our garage, sleeps at least 3 {plus 2 dogs} and it absolutely has to have a shower. Right now, we are leaning towards a pop up camper, but I would love to hear your suggestions.

Pothole Gardens.

While driving Mr. Sweet Greens to work a few afternoons ago {Eben and I needed the car}. I noticed how many potholes there are in our roads. The reason that I noticed, is because I hit one going 30 and it scared the pants off of me. Wouldn’t these Pothole Gardens created by Pete Dungey be the perfect way to spot a pothole in advance? Aren’t they fantastic?

Hello Lovely Readers,

Happy March! Can you believe today is the 1st day of March? Where did December, January and February go. Wow, time really does fly. March always means one thing to me, spring time is right around the corner. I love, love, love Spring. Spring is so lovely because it is the time of year when things feel refreshed and renewed. I can’t wait to start to see the flowers and trees blooming.

I very much look forward to warm spring mornings and nights. It also means that there are only 3 months left of school. Then, Eben and I have all summer to relax, enjoy the summer heat, lazy days by the pool and evenings in the hammock. I love Spring. Now, can I make it until then?

To get ready for Spring our family is starting our ‘Garden in the Basement’, thinking of hosting a stuff swap and thinking of the ‘Seeds of Springs’.
