Have you seen the lovely low impact wooden home that a Wale’s man built for his family? This home was built so that they would be able to live close to and in harmony with the environment. Some features of the home include; straw bale insulation, solar panels, a rooftop water collection system and a compost toilet. Fantastic! I really love this home and think the mister will flip for it! I can just see us snuggled up in front of the wood burning fireplace reading, can’t you?

I Want to Live in an i-house
The mister and I have already started to talk about downsizing to a smaller home. However, we have decided to stay in the home that we currently live in until Eben finishes high school, er… well at least until Eben has finished elementary school. Right now, I am kind of obsessed with the i-house. I can just imagine us living in a 1 bedroom 1 bath with a outside studio. I would definitely feel at home, the perfect size for our small family. You can see a great video of the i-house here. The only thing that is missing as far as I am concerned is a chicken coop, hammock and a fantastic view. Fruit Smoothies on the upstairs deck anyone?
