Hello + Welcome
My name is Jennie Lyon. It's so nice to meet you! I am a green lifestyle writer, owner of a digital marketing agency, wife to a wonderful husband, + mother of a amazing adult son in the beautiful mountains of Banner Elk, North Carolina. I've been posting simple, fun ways families can go green together since 2009.
I love farmers markets. I especially love the one hosted at a local venue, The North Market, because they have VERY strict guidelines as to who can sell there and what they can sell. I have seen some farmers markets where it is obvious that they are reselling stuff they bought not stuff they actually grew or made themselves and it makes me so angry as that is NOT the point of a local farmers market!
You are right, that definitely isn’t the point of the farmer’s market!
