Have a Lovely Green Weekend + A Few Green Things

Hello, Friends! How was your week? Can you believe it is already February? Are you ready for it? I am looking forward to a laid back weekend at home. Well, that is until Sunday afternoon when I will be heading to Target headquarters in Minnesota. I am excited to share all the details with you – but I will wait until I get back later this week (I will be taking a few days off). While I get out my eco-friendly LolĂ« coat and Neuaura riding boots from the back of my closet and pack my Target mittens and scarf – here are a few green things to keep you entertained:

– Are you avoiding these 10 harmful food additives?
– The EU bans animal testing forever!
– Have you seen Paperman? If not, you NEED to.
– Do you know what the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is?
Hot springs are at the top of my miss-list from the west.
– Cheap and sustainable Super Bowl snacks!
– Yum! Sweet potato veggie burgers!

I hope you have a wonderful warm weekend, I will see you back here on Wednesday.

xo,
Sweet Greens

I just posted to my own FB fan page that I couldn’t believe it is Feb too! LOL ooo can’t wait to hear what is going on with Target! I was SO thrilled to hear about that EU ban..now if the USA could get out of the dark ages on this and many many other important issues it would be great! ugh the GPGP makes me sick…and some people are like ” its too big to clean up” really??? really? ugh don’t get me started! thanks for that additive list… I try to avoid them all but didn’t really know why so much, so it was educational. will watch that video…all about animation! ooo i have always wanted to go to a hot springs…do they stink though? like sulfur?

Hi Angie, I know – right? Time is flying by. Agree on everything! The hot springs I have been to didn’t smell like sulfur – thank goodness!
