I have only recently begun replacing my white rice with organic brown rice. At first I was really put off by the texture of the brown rice, as it is so much more fibrous (sort of like switching from white bread to organic whole wheat), but now that I am getting used to it, I am starting to really like it more and notice the subtle nuttiness that the brown brings to the table that the white does not.

    Hi Angie,
I agree that the texture is hard to get use to at first. We started by mixing white and brown rice together and then slowly transitioned to all brown, that way Eben would eat it. We are brown rice lovers now.
