And So It Goes

The mister will finally be home again this morning. Really, I have had enough of this being apart stuff. Once he gets here, it is time to start getting all of our reusable bins with latching handles organized for the movers, who will be here tomorrow. Tomorrow? Can you believe it? Wow! Time really does fly. Can I admit that I am still in disbelief? It definitely hasn’t registered.

I am excited to come back and visit Fort Collins, (in the summer!) I have several lovely, lovely friends that have offered their homes to us anytime that we visit. (Thank you, Jennifer, Clair and Cindy!) Believe me, I will definitely take advantage of it each summer! Fort Collins is fabulous and if you love or can handle a very long, cold and windy winter…it is your place. It will forever hold a special place in my heart and I have told Mr. Sweet Greens, that I might just find a small home or condo in Fort Collin’s Old Town, so I can come and go as I please.(once again, in the summer!)

So, for today I will focus on getting everything organized so that when the movers get here the loading of the truck will go quickly and smoothly. I would really, really, really love to have a little time to spend in Fort Collins before we leave. Have I mentioned, moving is hard?

P.S. The frog picture above is one of the frog statues that lives in Fort Collins City Park.

A Fabulous Reupholstered Sofa that You Won’t Want to Miss

Since I just sold one of my sofa’s, a love seat and an ottoman to get ready for our move to Florida on Friday, I have been starting to think of the furniture that I will want in my new space. That is when I came across this sofa before and after project with time lapse video (see below). It has really inspired me to give this a try, I think it turned out fabulous. By the way, the music for the video just made me smile the entire time!

Would you dare to give this a try?
Do you have a piece of furniture in your home that you would love to reupholster?

A Tiny Apartment that Transforms into 24 Rooms

I love this tiny 330 square foot apartment in Hong Kong, China that transforms into 24 rooms. This makes the 3 bedroom villa we will be living in look huge. I love how functional and Eco friendly it is. Fantastic.

Could you live in a space this small?

Have a Lovely Green Weekend

Hello, Friends! How was your week? Mine was super busy. Somehow packing everything that we own by myself is exhausting. Really? I am happy to say that I have the main level of our home almost completely packed. Mr. Sweet Greens flies home today to get our car and pop up camper, only to turn around and drive all the way pack to Florida tomorrow morning. Then he will be back on Tuesday, to load everything into the moving truck. Can you imagine? Needless to say the next couple of weeks are going to be pretty exhausting. And exciting. I am happy that we will be in Florida and moved into our rental villa 2 weeks before school starts. We plan on living it up those 2 weeks…beach, beach, beach.

What are your plans for this lovely weekend?
Doing anything special?

P.S. Doesn’t the iced drink above look delicious? I think I will definitely have to treat myself to one of those when I am finished with all of this packing.

Enjoy Cupcakes In a Vintage Camper – You Know You Want To

I love, love, love cupcakes. Not only are they delicious, but they are adorable too! Plus, doesn’t everyone need a little piece of cake that they can eat with their hands? I am quite smitten with Enjoy Cupcakes. Enjoy Cupcakes can transport cupcake goodness to your wedding or special event in their Vintage Shasta Trailer. Yes, please. I think I need to start planning a special event.
