While driving Mr. Sweet Greens to work a few afternoons ago {Eben and I needed the car}. I noticed how many potholes there are in our roads. The reason that I noticed, is because I hit one going 30 and it scared the pants off of me. Wouldn’t these Pothole Gardens created by Pete Dungey be the perfect way to spot a pothole in advance? Aren’t they fantastic?

Happy March! Can you believe today is the 1st day of March? Where did December, January and February go. Wow, time really does fly. March always means one thing to me, spring time is right around the corner. I love, love, love Spring. Spring is so lovely because it is the time of year when things feel refreshed and renewed. I can’t wait to start to see the flowers and trees blooming.
I very much look forward to warm spring mornings and nights. It also means that there are only 3 months left of school. Then, Eben and I have all summer to relax, enjoy the summer heat, lazy days by the pool and evenings in the hammock. I love Spring. Now, can I make it until then?
Doesn’t this little house on a cliff in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland look fantastic? Can you imagine having this much space to yourself? Mr. Sweet Greens would be in heaven, he absolutely loves having a lot of space to himself. Can you imagine the view from the edge of the cliff? Wouldn’t it be amazing? It may be very cold, but I think it would be totally worth it.

How was your week? As you probably already know, this has been the hardest week of my life. I am starting to feel a little bit better. I want to thank all of you who sent us your kind words, thoughts and love. I would also like to thank my lovely mother for sending us the flowers. {love} I am hoping that I will start to feel better and stronger soon.
This weekend will start fairly early for me. Eben will be presenting his poetry report on Shel Silverstein this afternoon at school. This evening we are off to the theatre to see the B.Y.U. International Folk Dance Ensemble. Maybe that is exactly what I need right now, vibrant costumes and great music and dance. What do you think?
Tomorrow, we are planning a day out as a family. Mr. Sweet Greens thinks that I need to get away from the house for a few hours. We are planning on taking Eben to ‘The Denver Nature and Science Museum’ and to see ‘Arabia‘ at the IMAXtheatre. On the way home, we plan to stop at Costco to look at their Eco friendly televisions. {By the way:: how do they make a television Eco friendly? Is it the energy star rating, the packaging, the way the television is made?} These are the questions, I will be looking for answers to. We also need to find a large outdoor composter, since our automatic indoor composter, will need some help come spring.
