How to Save The Environment Without Buying a Hybrid

I love a sweet dainty pair of earrings. I have a pair of diamond studs that Jayson bought me when we were first married. I wear them all the time. They are perfect. They go with everything, look fabulous and are, well dainty. I always get compliments on them and I love them. I think a beautiful piece of jewelry can have a huge impact, regardless of its size.

You know about Eben’s love of Koi, right? While we were there, I had to check out the fairy garden and house that resides there. I really, really want one. I keep telling Jayson that we should build one to put on our large coffee table. I think it would be delightful to sip my tea and admire the fairy house. Wouldn’t it be enchanting to weed the tiny garden? Being the only girl in our household, I think I am the only one smitten with the idea.Last Sunday we decided to take a visit to our fave local nursery. We wanted to add some new plants to our home. I also knew that the nursery would have all of their holiday decor out and I wanted to take a peek. I was right, they had all kinds of trees decorated with the most beautiful ornaments. I had to pick up a beautiful hummingbird one that I saw Eben adoring. {A little stocking stuffer…shhhh} They have a large indoor turtle and Koi Pond with the giant pitcher plants hanging from above.
Have you made a fairy house?
Last year, we started a new tradition for Thanksgiving that turned out to be a lot of fun. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner followed by a White Elephant Party. It was hilarious to see the gifts were and everyone was trying to NOT go home with the ‘The David Hasselhoff CD in Spanish’. It was a great way to enjoy each others company after dinner and we laughed a lot. It was really nice and something that I look forward to.
P.S. This year someone is going home with a set of ceramic mariachi band members.
Before my family leaves the house to go for a bike ride, a hike or even to just run errands, the first thing we do is refill our stainless steel water bottles. This way when we are out and about, there is no, “I’m thirsty, can we stop to get a drink?” I love a good stainless steel reusable bottle that is made with food grade stainless steel and absolutely 100% BPA free. With the recent Sigg bottle debacle, I am glad that the stainless steel bottle that my family uses are from EarthLust.
Allison the owner of EarthLust was inspired to start the company when her first child was born. Protecting the health of her newborn baby as well as the environment became her top priority. EarthLust bottles are hand made from high quality 18/8 food grade stainless steel, which is naturally safe to use unlined. The caps are BPA free and made with safe polypropylene #5. You can download their lab test results here. All of the bottles from EarthLust come in 13, 20 and 1 liter sizes, which means you can find the perfect size for any member of your family. My favorite part of EarthLust bottles are the designs, they are fabulous and so unique. I get compliments on my EarthLust bottle everywhere I go.
Wouldn’t you love to have a fab stainless steel EarthLust bottle to clip to your bag? You can have an ice cold beverage with you wherever you go and people will be asking you, :where can I get a bottle like that?”
Allison @ EarthLust has been a dear to offer ONE of my readers, your choice of any bottle from their entire collection. Wow, the selection is fabulous.
