Snow Day.

Yesterday, was the second day this week that school was canceled due to snow. Eben and I decided to make a day of it and have a Mom and Son fun day. We made chocolate covered marshmallows and a pumpkin cheesecake. {Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe coming soon.} Then we spent the entire afternoon outside building a snow fort. We used two plastic bins to make the snow cubes for our snow fort. It was fun to watch Eben lug the heavy bins full of snow back and forth. He was a trooper.

I am not sure who loved playing in the snow more, us or our English Bulldog Lilly. She couldn’t get enough of the snow, she was plowing through it and eating it as she went.

We then enjoyed hot cocoa while we warmed our cold toes by the fireplace.
