Blueberries are an excellent super food because they are excellent at fighting free radicals. Free radicals are responsible for aging, tissue damage and possibly some diseases. Blueberries are great at slowing age related mental illnesses, lowering your chance of urinary tract infections and reducing your risk of cancers and heart disease. Not to mention, they are packed with antioxidants, phytonutrients, potassium and vitamin C. To get the biggest punch from blueberries, eat 1/2 cup each day.
My favorite way to get blueberries everyday is by adding them to a smoothie and sprinkling them on cereals and salads.
Do you love blueberries? How do you add them to your daily menu?
What is your favorite super food?

Thank you for the informative post about superfood. After reading your post I thought about mentioning about aronia berry even though it is still not popular in US. Aronia contains health properties equivalent to acai or noni or any other superfruit out there.
love love love blueberries…throw a handful in your pancake or waffle batter, toss some in a smoothie, put them on your ice cream, make a cobbler…mmmmmm
