Have a Lovely Green Weekend.

Hello lovely readers,

How was your week? Did you go anywhere new? Do anything exciting? I had a fantastic spring break with Eben. It was great to spend the entire week with him, having lunch together, riding our bikes, going to the library, chatting, watching movies and going to the park. I will be sad when he has to return to school on Monday. Did you do anything fun with your children?

My weekend starts early today, Mr. Sweet Greens will be home at noon and then we are off to pick up our new pop up camper. Yay! I am looking forward to bringing it home and stocking it full of all of the things that we will need on our family trips. We are so excited and have already planned our maiden voyage to the hot springs next weekend. Since, it is cold and snowy again, I think the hot springs are in order. Don’t you agree?

Tonight, we are thinking of taking Eben to see ‘Alice in Wonderland’. He has been asking to see it for a couple of weeks now. The conversation always starts the same, ‘Mom, do you know who plays the Mad Hatter? It’s Johnny Depp.’ He says this as if Johnny Depp is his best friend and it always makes me smile. Doesn’t the movie look fantastic? We have a major thing for Tim Burton in our home, so we are excited. Fun.

We are hoping that the snow will melt enough this weekend that we can continue to work on our raised garden boxes. Have you started your garden? We are growing seedlings in our bedroom and bathroom windows. Mr. Sweet Greens has our entire garden designed and I can not wait to see the finished product. Hello Lovely Readers,

How was your week? Did you do anything fun and exciting? Eben is out of school for Spring Break, so we will be spending a lot of time having fun in the sun. This afternoon Eben and I are going to spend the day together. First, we are going on a bike ride to the park, followed by a picnic lunch and kite flying. This evening we are off to the theater to see ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ {Eben is super excited for this one}. Saturday and Sunday we are going to do a little spring cleaning inside and outside. We want to get our garage organized and ready for our new pop up camper. Yay! We finally decided on one and it will be ready for pickup in about a week. I am so excited to start camping. We are also going to start building our large raised garden beds for our backyard. Isn’t spring so much fun?

Hello Lovely Readers,

How was your week? Did you do anything fun? This weekend I will be with my family, thinking of my lovely grandmother who passed away on Tuesday.
So lovely readers, what are your weekend plans? Are you starting to plan your garden? Are you starting your seeds? Doing a little early spring cleaning? Now is the perfect time to do some Ebaying to make a little cash to spruce up your home for Spring. {I made $150 last week from things that we no longer need or use}. Are you going to spend the entire weekend hanging out with your honey and the children?

Hello Lovely Readers,
How was your week? As you probably already know, this has been the hardest week of my life. I am starting to feel a little bit better. I want to thank all of you who sent us your kind words, thoughts and love. I would also like to thank my lovely mother for sending us the flowers. {love} I am hoping that I will start to feel better and stronger soon.

This weekend will start fairly early for me. Eben will be presenting his poetry report on Shel Silverstein this afternoon at school. This evening we are off to the theatre to see the B.Y.U. International Folk Dance Ensemble. Maybe that is exactly what I need right now, vibrant costumes and great music and dance. What do you think?

Tomorrow, we are planning a day out as a family. Mr. Sweet Greens thinks that I need to get away from the house for a few hours. We are planning on taking Eben to ‘The Denver Nature and Science Museum’ and to see ‘Arabia‘ at the IMAX theatre. On the way home, we plan to stop at Costco to look at their Eco friendly televisions. {By the way:: how do they make a television Eco friendly? Is it the energy star rating, the packaging, the way the television is made?} These are the questions, I will be looking for answers to. We also need to find a large outdoor composter, since our automatic indoor composter, will need some help come spring.
