We woke up to find several inches of snow on the ground. I still can’t believe it is only October and we have so much snow. It started snowing as we were getting ready for bed last night and it hasn’t stopped. School was canceled so Eben is enjoying a nice quiet day at home. How lucky is that? Sounds like the perfect day to snuggle up on the sofa with a nice cup of tea, don’t you think? I also think now would be a good time to bring in the patio furniture.
If you live where it snows, has it snowed yet?

Oh yes, it’s snowy here in Edmonton too! Doesn’t look like quite as much as you’ve got there though. And we rarely if ever close schools due to snow. Why do they do that in CO if you’re so used to the snow?
Hi Sarah,
I think it is funny too. They always close school here. I grew up in Utah and only remember the schools being closed once and we had a ton of snow. It is still coming down.

And I was complaining about the temperature at 44degrees. But your snow is pretty.
Hi Linda, Crazy. Right? Yesterday it was nice. Today is a white out.

Yes, it snowed a ton at the beginning of the month! (And on the day of the Fall Festival, too. Haha.) It was extremely heavy because it was wet snow and it was breaking trees all over the place… The trees fell onto wires and made the electricity go out. Everyone was pretty surprised!
Hi Chloe,
Oh no! That is awful. It is tipping tree branches over and is getting very deep. It hasn’t stopped snowing in almost 24 hours.

We had snow here in NY last week, and four days later it was sunny and 70F. This weather can’t make up its mind!
Hi Caleb and Emily Designs,
That’s what I am worried about. What happens when next week it decided to be warm and we have 3 feet of snow on the ground.

I still can’t believe that you guys got so much snow in October. It is so pretty though, but just too early! Say no to snow before Halloween! LOL
Hi one4earth,
I know, crazy. Right? It put me in the holiday mood.
