Have a Lovely Weekend + A Few Green Things

Hello Everyone. How has your week been? Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Next week, I am going to feature a few easy Valentine’s projects that won’t cost you or the environment a penny.

This weekend, Eben and I are going to finish making his plastic bag friendship bracelet valentines, while nibbling on our miniature organic conversation heart cakes. And I am going to plan a romantic Valentine’s Day surprise for Mr. Sweet Greens. Any ideas?

While I start brainstorming Valentine’s surprises, here are few things I have been wanting to share with you:

– I wonder if sharks will affect our beach plans this weekend?
– I am a huge fan of green roofs and hope to have one in my future.
– This Volkswagen commercial totally reminded me of Eben. Thanks for sharing Phyl.
– If I were to get married again, these would be the drinks!
– Just another reason to love dogs. Sweetness.
The Julie Project will touch you – change you. Thank you for sharing Cam.
– If I still lived in Colorado, I would need a pair of pom-pom gloves!
– Don’t forget to enter to win a beautiful rainbow pronta, wooden building blocks, wooden placecards, and Irma Guzman jewelry!

I hope you have a lovely green weekend + I can’t wait to see you on Monday.
xo,

Sweet Greens

A Wearable Planter

I just came across Colleen Jordan’s wearable planters and I am in love. Now, you can take your favorite plant, flower or succulent with you wherever you go. I love the idea of wearable plants, cleaning the air as you breathe. Brilliant!
* I only wish they weren’t make out of plastic – maybe a lightweight glass or recycled plastic?

What do you think? Would you wear a planter?
