Mr. Sweet Greens and I snuck away this afternoon to finish up our holiday shopping and to pick up things that we will need for Thanksgiving dinner. Can you believe that it is next week? Wow. When you grow up – time really does fly. The best part – Mr. Sweet Greens and Eben will be home for five whole days. Fantastic.
While I plan ways that we can spend our Thanksgiving time off together – here are a few green things that I have been meaning to share with you:
– When things are organized neatly, my day just brims with happiness!
– Why aren’t all calendars this fabulous and edible?
– Sweet Greens has a Facebook Fan Page, we would love for you to join us!
– Of course, we will be seeing this movie tomorrow! Is there really a nude scene?
– West Elm: print your own cards, labels and menus for the holidays – and they are FREE!
– Planning on giving someone a cat for Christmas? This is how you wrap one up!
– The cutest wedding shoot EVER! Inspired by the movie UP.
– I wonder if Mr. Sweet Greens can whip this up for brunch tomorrow!
– Wow! Two more bottles of this organic yumminess was just delivered to my front door.
I hope you have a fabulous green weekend.
xo,
Sweet Greens

We are very fortunate to have a professional artist in our family. Jayson’s cousin Louis Ulman is a fabulous and super talented romantic realist and a wonderful man. His paintings and drawings are vibrant, beautiful and intense. We visited Louis and his lovely wife Linda on our trip to Florida last week. It was a joy to see them and I always love seeing the masterpieces in progress in his home studio. I am always amazed at the way some people can create something so beautiful with paints and a canvas. Eben and Louis have a special bond that I find very heartwarming. I think it is because they are both so creative and expressive in their work. Eben loves to visit Louis whenever we are in Florida. He loves Louis’ enormous Koi pond. {More on that coming soon} My favorites are his paintings of Koi and we are lucky to have “Circle of Waterlilies”, “Pisces Pond”, “Pisces Pond Orange”, and “Pisces Pond Red” in our home. We also have other paintings and drawings that are wonderful. If you are in the market for beautiful fine art, you can see some of the beautiful work Louis does at
