Wow! I just saw the new shipping container homes from Meka World. Fantastic. And starting at only $100 a square foot including a kitchen and bath – completed within 7 days. Yes, please. Would you live in a shipping container home?

What types of holiday card do you enjoy?
The winter season is upon us and with it can come the winter blues. The days are shorter and the nights are longer – slowing the natural processes of our bodies. Since we tend to slow down during the winter, getting less exercise than usual – we are susceptible to colds and the flu. To keep your health and spirits high throughout the winter, continue to get adequate amounts of exercise, dress warmly, spend more time with your friends and family and be happy.
Do you get the winter blue?
If so, how do you prevent the winter blues?
Why does everything have to be about money? Here is another example from The Story of Stuff about items that are specifically designed for the dump. I hope the U.S. starts to implement take back laws to help stop the 25 million tons of e waste that is produced each year.
What are your thoughts?
How do you prevent e waste?
Or, what do you do with your e waste?
Today I was happy to slip away for an impromptu trip to Costco with Mr. Sweet Greens. I always enjoy my time shopping with him, especially when it is just the two of us. And guess what? Costco now has organic, shade grown coffee from Ruta Maya. The best part, you can get two 2.2 pound bags for only $36.99.Which is quite a bargain when you compare Amazon’s price for just one 2.2 pound bag at $52.00.
The rest of the weekend should be fairly low key and relaxed – which are my favorite types of weekends. How about you, do you like weekends that are jam packed with fun? Or do you like to snuggle up with a good book and a warm cup of organic tea?
While I daydream about the yummy meal that Mr. Sweet Greens has planned, here are a few green things that I thought you would enjoy:
– I want an enchanting windshield rainbow, please.
– I was mentioned on this lovely blog. How nice is that! {blush}
– Alexa Meade paints people. Look again, those aren’t portraits.
– Shhh. Eben and I are going to make this as a holiday gift for Mr. Sweet Greens.
– Could someone please invite me to a Backyard Harvest Party?
– Where the Wild Things Are Halloween costumes – brilliant!
– This Apple Cider recipe looks yummy and will keep you warm this weekend.
– Doesn’t a bowl full of organic raspberries sound delicious right about now?
I hope you enjoy your weekend and get a chance to relax. I will see you back bright and early Monday morning – I miss you already.
xo,
Sweet Greens
