Giveaway #1: SnapWare GlassLock: Home and Food Storage

Today 1st giveaway is from my favorite home and food storage company, SnapWare. SnapWare is my favorite because I love the way the lids snap securely into place and they are perfect for stacking, saving a ton of space. We love having SnapWare in our home, we find that they are the perfect containers for organizing our pantry, refriderator, drawers and cabinets. SnapWare keeps all of our food fresh and tasting delicious without using BPA. SnapWare GlassLock has gotten even better. Have a Lovely Green Weekend

Another weekend is finally upon us, isn’t that fantastic? How was your week? Did you get your taxes in on time? Aren’t you glad that is finally over? What are your weekend plans? Tonight, we are having ‘Make Your Own Taco Salad Night’, with homemade taco salad shells. Then, we are off to the theatre to see ‘Samite’, a world-renowned Ugandan musician and photographer.

The rest of the weekend is kind of up in the air, we don’t have any official plans? Isn’t that nice? Maybe we will work in our garden and yard? Go for another impromptu hike? A lazy day reading in our hammock? An afternoon of golf? Really, I love weekends like this, because you never know what we will find to do.

$1 for Organic Farming, If You Pledge to Be Greener at Cascadian Farm

If you haven’t already, jump on over to Cascadian Farm and pledge to be greener. For every person who pledges, Cascadian Farm will donate $1 to the Organic Farming Research Foundation. What one thing can you do to be greener? Will you reuse your old clothes? Will you start planning your meals? Will you seal your ducts or slow the flow of your toilets? Whatever it is that you choose to do, you can help a lot. Cascadian Farm has a goal of 40,000 pledges. Will one of them be you?

Eco Wedding with Sustainable Centerpieces and Terrariums

I love the idea of using locally grown flowers, succulents and bromeliads as centerpieces for a wedding. This wedding was designed by Tend Living for a green loving couple. Now, I can’t think of a lovelier way to start a lifetime together. I would definitely say, “I do”. You?
