Please join me in welcoming Sweet Greens’ newest sponsor:: My Dear Thing. Do you remember My Dear Thing? My Dear Thing is a fabulous organic clothing collection full of fabulous clothing that is easy to wear. The designer, Lauren strives to create clean, trendless silhouettes with sustainable fabrics. ‘She wants to design clothing that can embody a person, rather than a season. Every piece was designed and created with the intent of enhancing the individual, whichever way she chooses to wear it.’ Fantastic, no?
A lovely thank you to My Dear Thing for sponsoring Sweet Greens. I am very excited to have you.
How about you lovely readers, what piece from My Dear Thing do you love? Take a look around and let me know what you think?
Happy President’s Day. Do you have the day off of work? Mr. Sweet Greens had to work today, so it is just Eben and myself. We don’t have any formal plans, just a relaxing day at home. Maybe, we will make these fun log cabins via Martha Stewart to celebrate President’s Day. I mean peanut butter mortar, it doesn’t get much better than that, no?
How was your week? Did you get your valentines done? If not, here are a lot of fun ideas that you could do before Sunday. Are you ready for the weekend? I know, I am. My weekend starts with Eben’s class Valentine’s Day party this afternoon. How fun is that? I love to see little kids dressed up in red, white and pink for love day. It is always so much fun to see them exchange and open valentines. Their delight is precious and genuine.
Sunday morning, Eben will wake up to find the first clue to his Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt on his bedroom door. This is always his favorite part of Valentine’s Day, searching for the clues. What comes next is a secret, but if you promise not to tell. I have a surprise Valentine’s Day brunch planned for Mr. Sweet Greens and Eben. I am going to decorate our dining room in red, pink and white, complete with a fancy table setting and hearts hanging from the chandelier. On the menu, heart shaped waffles, omelets and for dessert {of course you have to have dessert after Valentine’s Day brunch} heart shaped cinnamon rolls. I can. not. wait. I love, love, love brunch.
The rest of the weekend is going to be devoted to relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.
How about you lovely readers, what are your Valentine’s Day plans?

Do you remember Dr. Alkaitis Holistic Organic Skin Food? Do you remember Dr. Alkaitis Holistic Organic Skin Food is one of my favorite natural body product lines? Dr. Alkaitis is a chemist, molecular biologist, ethnopharmacologist and pharmacognosist so, when it comes to the right plant derived products to use on your skin, he is the person to ask. Dr. Alkaitis has used his vast knowledge of plants to create a product line that uses a holistic approach to healing the skin. How lovely is that?
I love, love, love Dr. Alkaitis Holistic Organic Skin Food. One of my favorite products is the organic Nourishing Treatment Oil. The Organic Nourishing Treatment Oil is divine smelling, uniquely therapeutic healing oil that can be used for the scalp, face, and body. This ‘miracle in a bottle’ improves skin elasticity and nourishes dry and damaged skin. One of the reasons that it is my favorite is because it nourishes and treats my super sensitive skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and moisturized. You can read more reasons that I love Dr. Alkaitis‘ Holistic Organic Skin Food here and here.
If you really care about your skin, then Dr. Alkaitis Holistic Organic Skin Food is the perfect little Valentines gift for yourself. And guess what? I am giving away a full size bottle of the organic Nourishing Treatment Oil to one of my lovely readers. A $60 Value. Lucky.
