I really love Applegate because I feel like they are offering a great selection of organic products within the meat, poultry and cheese departments. It is nice that even when shopping at grocers that aren’t necessarily “green”, I can still find some type of sandwich fixings from Applegate.
I also love how transparent Applegate is – they are great if there is an issue with one of the products, they will immediately announce it on their website and Facebook Fan Page. They also keep us updated on their journey to ensure that all of their products are GMO free (they only have 10 items left that aren’t.)
I know that vegetarianism and veganism doesn’t work for every person or every family and I get it. And if you are going to be purchasing meats and cheeses – I would recommend purchasing from a company that works very hard to offer the best in organic selections.
