Last Sunday we visited LoDo {Lower Denver} to do some shopping, have an organic lunch and visit Tattered Cover Bookstore. Our main reason for the day, the bookstore. We have been looking for a bookstore that has history, is cozy and that is a place that you just want to spend all afternoon. Tattered Cover Bookstore is that place. Tattered Cover Bookstore is one of the largest independently owned bookstores in the country. I can only explain the bookstore as a huge multilevel cozy building that I instantly fell in love with. There are lovely little nooks throughout the store, that you can settle into for the day and loose yourself. Which is exactly what we did.

Mr. Sweet Greens, Eben and myself found stacks of books that interested us and then snuggled up on a sofa and the floor {Doesn’t Eben look comfy?} to read for the afternoon. It was so relaxing and fun. All three of us, love, love, love to read so this is really the best way to spend an afternoon for us. Guess what? Tattered Cover Bookstore has a large sustainability section, so I was in Eco heaven. Really, you could find any book that you are looking for at this bookstore. They also had used copies mixed in with the new copies which simple made me smile.
Do you have a favorite bookstore?
Which one is your favorite?
xo.

I swear, I love coming here because you have such wonderful posts that I can relate to!
That book store sounds HEAVENLY-I wish we had one here like that ๐
Hi The Eclectic Element,
I am so glad we have so much in common. Now, only if we lived closer to each other.
Xo,
Sweet Greens.
