We’re all about conserving energy but one big driving force is keeping the electric bill as low as we can. I keep my thermostat at 50, shut off rooms and vents even though it is in the teens at night. Basically we use floor heaters in the room we are in and the only heat in the kitchen is a potbelly stove. Never turned on the ac at all last summer. Good about switching off lights. We have our vices though, my friend watches tv and sleeps with it on and I am a computer geek. That always lessens when the weather gets good and I can garden and do yardwork.
