Have a Lovely Green Weekend + A Few Green Things

Hello Everyone,

How was your week? I have been super busy with my new job so Mr. Sweet Greens and Eben have taken this time to really bond. Which is fantastic! It is usually always the three of us, so they rarely get that quality one on one time together. They did all of Eben’s school clothing and supply shopping together, then completed his 4th grade check up and registration and even fit in a haircut.

The rest of their time has been spent exclusively at the beach. Eben is completely smitten with snorkeling and loves to spend the entire day doing it. Yesterday, they went to John D. MacArthur Beach Park and spent the day snorkeling on the reef. How great is that? The best part, they saw many different kinds of tropical fish (even a puffer!), hermit crabs, a moray eel, 3 nurse sharks and get this…2 sea turtles. Sea Turtles! I have to admit, I am a little jealous that I wasn’t there – I have never seen nurse sharks or sea turtles in their natural habitat. Mr. Sweet Greens said that he was constantly trying to keep up with Eben because he would just keep swimming, swimming (This is where I hear Dory from ‘Finding Nemo’ singing…Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, ah ha ha ah ha ha ha!). And he said there were a few times that Eben would swim out so far that Mr. Sweet Greens thought he may just swim to the Bahamas. Hee Hee.

Tonight, we are spending the evening with my lovely friend Cameron and her fabulous family as well as my two newest friends via Cameron – Alina and Amber and their beautiful families! I feel so lucky to have only been in Florida for a month and to already have such a lovely friendship circle and support system. Yay for friends! Then, tomorrow I want to get up bright and early and go to John D. MacArthur Beach Park, because by darn, I need to see nurse sharks and sea turtles in the ocean. Don’t you agree?

So while, I get my snorkeling gear on – here are some things I have wanted to share with you this week.

– My lovely friend, Rikkianne from Chakra Pennywhistle is participating in The Sketchbook Project.
– Doesn’t this tiny birthday party look like fun?
– As soon as I move into my new space, I am having a Ladies Lunch.
– Isn’t a Photo Booth Engagement the cutest idea ever?
Color system tattoos? Yes, please.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get to spend it with the ones you love. I will be spending every second with Eben – soaking up as much of his sweetness as I can, because before I know he will gone to school all day.

What weekend plans do you have?

xo,
Sweet Greens

Congrats on the new job, and I am still enjoying your daily doses of sunshine:) I will still be enjoying them as the snow falls in the cold of winter! Thanks for always making my day a little brighter!

    Hi Angie,
The reef is fantastic and Cameron is super talented. I can’t wait to have her do my family photos.

    Hi Mom of Koby,
Aw, thank you so much. We are doing well and the sunshine makes every day fanastic. I will think of you in the winter!
