Olli Lolli Organic Hoodie Keeps Allergy Medication Close to Your Child

If you have a child who has a life threatening allergy, you know how important it is to keep their life-saving medication close by. Olli Lolli has created organic hoodies that are specially designed with the Olli Pocket, a built-in pocket that holds your child’s emergency epinephrine auto-injector, asthma inhaler or insulin injector, keeping it close by for when they need it. The pocket also has a tag where you can write all of our child’s emergency contact information. The hoodie comes in green or purple and sizes x-small, small, medium and large.

I love the idea of empowering children while promoting allergy awareness at the same time!

P.S. While Eben doesn’t have an allergy that requires him to carry medication – he is allergic to penicillin, so I completely understand the importance of allergy awareness.

Physical Geography Project: Interior Slice of the Earth from Eco-Friendly Clay

Eben has been working on a 3-D project for Physical Geography – his project: create an interior slice of the earth showing its layers. He sketched a drawing of what he wanted his project to look like and that he planned to make it out of clay.

This worked perfectly for me – I had gifted him with a large stack of Plastilina modeling clay from Stubby Pencil Studio last Hanukkah, so the only other supplies he needed were a piece of paper from the recycling bin and a handful of wooden toothpicks. I love to watch him create things with his hands!

Would you like to see the finished project?

Have a Lovely Weekend + A Few Green Things

Hello, Friends! The weekend is here! Are you excited? We are having friends over for dinner tonight – Mr. Sweet Greens has a delicious Italian dinner planned. I can’t wait! The mister hurt his foot earlier this week, so the rest of our weekend plans will depend on how he is feeling. I have high hopes that we will get some sailing time in. While I get ready for our dinner party, here are a few green things I thought you might enjoy:

– Do you think those babies belong to Mrs. Turtle? I hope so!
– For the Mister: Baby Otters too adorable for words.
– What do you think of a living table?
– What do you think of edible food packaging?
– I love winter crop circles – do you?
– Super-duper cute and eco Easter bunnies!
– I love Glacier National Park – check out these fantastic photos

Have a wonderful weekend, I will see you back here on Monday.

xo,
Sweet Greens
