How to Overcome 5 Common Breastfeeding Challenges

Breast may be best, but it’s not always easiest. Certainly, the benefits of breastfeeding to mother and baby, both physically and emotionally, outweigh any challenges that you will encounter along the way, and it can be a wonderful experience that strengthens the bond between mother and child. However, the challenges that you do bump into can be discerning and may leave you questioning whether you will ever be successful at breastfeeding or how much you can do it — I should know since I faced many challenges when breastfeeding my son for 3.5 years. Jump over to Inhabitots and read the tips that I discovered while reading The Better Way to Breastfeed by Robin Elise in my article How to Overcome 5 Common Breastfeeding Challenges.

Have a Lovely Weekend + A Few Green Things

Hello Everyone. We have a super laid back weekend planned! My bestie Cameron from Green {Goody} is coming over for Tea and Wii this afternoon. I haven’t seen her in a couple of weeks and oh, how I have missed her! On Sunday, Eben’s school is having a family picnic – so, we will be spending the day at the beach. The rest of the weekend will be spent getting caught up on Valentine’s Day projects and cooking with my boys. While I start getting organized for the weekend, here are a few things I have been meaning to share with you:

– These bookcases have me reeling for our new home – I can’t wait to see my books again!
– I love the idea of a Trash to Treasure wedding theme.
– I think plantable Valentine’s Day cards are delightful.
– The organic elite surrenders to Monsanto, I am panicking!
– This is the exact reason that I adore dogs!
– An old Florida phosphate ore transformed into an energy park. Wow.
– Only in Miami! A mystery piano on a sandbar in Biscayne Bay?

P.S. Did you know that you can get more Sweet Greens’ fun here, here, here, here and here. And don’t forget to enter the 4 live giveaways!
