Earth Friendly Etsy: Fickle Faerie
When you go grocery shopping, are you still using produce bags? Every year billions of produce bags are thrown away after one use. How wasteful is that? This is a great way for your to help save the Earth and isn’t a hard thing to do. We stopped using those flimsy produce bags years ago, instead we take our own smaller reusable grocery bags and fill it with our produce. Recently I have seen great reusable produce bags that are great colors and can be used over and over again. Sometimes, we won’t have enough reusable bags to put the fruit in so I will be investing in a set for myself. If only to keep the lemons from rolling all over in the back of my car. lol.
This weeks Earth friendly Etsian is Fickle Faerie. Fickle Faerie is owned by June, a mom to three grown up daughters who has been sewing for over 40 years. June makes reusable and biodegradable produce bags. So far, June has sold over 8,000 produce bags. Green Community:: Denver Art Museum
Last Tuesday, Eben and I went to the Denver Art Museum with some of our amazing friends. The Denver Art Museum is a huge multi-level and multi-building collection of some of the most fabulous art that I have ever seen. There are currently 2 buildings with 11 levels total. The kids love the museum because there are different children’s activities on all of the levels. If you are ever in the mile high city, stop by the Denver Art Museum, purchase your tickets and make your way to level 2 in the Hamilton Building to pick up a family backpack. The backpacks are full of everything you need to create art, play games and piece together puzzles throughout your visit at the museum.
On our visit the kids had a great time exploring Africa in the Modern and Contemporary art collection. They really enjoyed listening to the African music, playing the make your own African music game and watching the animated adventures of an African mask in the movie nook.
There are many other adventures for the kids to explore at the Denver Art Museum, including, doing an Oceanic Sculpture Puzzle, an architecture view master game, play the Wild, Wild Western Games, Chinese Animal Eye Spy and much, much more.
The kids really enjoyed the Modern and Contemporary Art Collection including the Fox Games and Quantum Cloud XXXIII. However I do think their favorite part was playing tag outside in one of the sculpture gardens.

It is very invigorating and super moisturizing and the Facial Serum, well it is amazing. I workout everyday and because of the sweating, I tend to break out along my hairline (above my temples) I rubbed the serum in before I went to bed and it took all of the inflammation out and my skin looked much clearer than usual. I thought to myself that maybe it was my imagination but when I went down for coffee in the morning, Jayson said, “your face looks great, what did you do?” I was like, what? excuse me? I wasn’t imaging it? I will be a fan of ShÄ from now on.
