Recycled Barn Style Doors Make Me Smile

I love old doors, remember this old green cabin door? Whenever Mr. Sweet Greens and I are thrifting, we are always drawn to old doors. We have really never had the use for them, until now. Now, that we will are in the market for a new residence, I can’t help but to constantly think of new and fun ways that we could incorporate old doors into our home. I think these barn doors and barn style doors are perfection. You?

I love the idea of using them to separate a bedroom from a bathroom.

Would you consider these types of doors?

Where would you put them?

I love old doors period but really love this idea of barn doors! Have never seen this before! The door we bought to turn the family room into our bedroom we got at a Restore shop (owned by Habitat) for $20 and its solid thick wood with the three horizontal windows up top…totally an antique that was salvaged…and we love it!

The barn doors look beautiful. I’ve got some in the basement that look nice too. The place I got them from put them on their website: http://www.woodstarproducts.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=27 It’s the second picture.

    Hi Angie,
I love them too. I love old doors that have history and a story behind them.

    Hi Kelly,
    Perfection. Thank you for sharing.
