Target Introduces the Target Sustainable Product Standard

Beginning in October, Target will be asking all of it’s household cleaners, baby care and personal and beauty care vendors to complete a UL Transparency Platform assessment powered by GoodGuide. The goal is for Target to take a step towards more transparency, which will lead to more sustainability in the future.

As the Product Standard matures it will trickle into Target’s product placement and merchandising decisions. I am excited to see more sustainable, eco-friendly products in Target’s stores in the future!
