Welcome New Sponsor: ecoSTORE Green Cleaners

I am very excited to announce my first sponsor, ecoSTORE – please join me in welcoming them. I have talked about ecoSTORE before both here and here and you will remember that ecostore is a New Zealand based company that offers plant-based and mineral-based household cleaning products, that are free of toxic chemicals and will help you reduce your carbon footprint. Their products are available through the Midwest at Meijer Stores and also online at ecoSTORE USA. “No Nasty Chemicals” is the foundation that ecoSTORE is built on. ecoSTORE has been building on that foundation for over 15 years and their goal is to help reduce the overall negative impact of our everyday living practices on the environment. ecoSTORE only uses biodegradable ingredients that break down efficiently and harmlessly. Their products help reduce the number of toxic chemicals that enter our water supply and ecoSTORE offers refill options and bulk sizes in many of their product lines, to lessen the amount of packaging. Their product line consists of over more than 100 products that are all manufactured to the highest environmental and sustainability standards.

If you haven’t had a chance to try ecoSTORE, give them a try. I highly recommend the front loader laundry powder, pure oxygen whitener and a Sweet Greens family favorite the lemongrass soap.

Have you tried ecoSTORE’s products? What are your favorites?

    Hi,
Congratulations on your first sponsor! Being a blogger that just started a sponsor program, I share your joy and wish you all the success in your sponsorship program.

I am also curious about this company’s products as I am always looking for new and green products. I am, however, a little leery about trying products from New Zealand since it’s shipped from so far away…have nothing against people from New Zealand. I hope they have U.S. manufacturing capabilities so not to use up so much carbon foot print for U.S. distribution.

    Just a thought.

    Hi Jennie,

As I commented before, I was curious where ecostore’s products are being manufactured as I was concerned with its products being shipped all the way from New Zealand. So I e-mailed the company asking where the products are being manufactured and this is the e-mail I received.

“Thank you for your interest in Ecostore USA.
Up until now we have had all of our products shipped in from New Zealand.
Happily we are now in the process of manufacturing our products in the United States
    Beginning this fall.
It took us almost 2 years to find the right fit!

So, be rest assured that ecostore is on the top of my list as one of my favorite stores now. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi EcoKaren,
Thank you so much for your comment. You beat me to the answer to the question. I was just going to email Lynn, when I saw your 2nd comment. I am so glad to hear that ecostore will begin production in the United States this fall. I am also looking for green companies to support that are within the United States, making my own carbon footprint smaller. Thank you for the great information, I really appreciate it. I wish you the best in all that you do.
    xo
