Book Adventure of the Week: The Best of Stuntology

This week’s book adventure of the week is The Best of Stuntology: 304 pranks, tricks and challenges to amuse & annoy your friends, written and drawn by the Master Trickster himself, Sam Bartlett.

I bought this book for Eben last Hanukkah – he didn’t show immediate interest in it until this week. He pulled it off of his book shelf and started to devour it. It is written in comic book fashion and this is very appealing to Eben right now. It is full of fun and harmless pranks and tricks to play on your friends or challenge yourself all with hand drawn illustrations. And it just happens that one of the first pranks that Mr. Sweet Greens played on Eben was “Dog Mumps Stunt” which scared the daylights out of him.

Last night, he decided to try the “seat stunt” on Mr. Sweet Greens. We snuck outside to Mr. Sweet Greens car and laid the driver’s seat all the way back. The book says that since people are use to their car seats being upright, they won’t notice that it is laid down and when they get in, they will fall backward. Eben loved it and couldn’t get over it – he was giggling all night long. I wonder what Mr. Sweet Greens thought when the prank came to fruition when he left for work at 5 a.m. this morning? Hee Hee. I will let you know via Twitter when I talk to him.

This is a super fun book, especially for young boys and includes tricks such as How to Eat Like a Lizard, The Peanut Butter Toothpaste Trick and Have you Felt My Wart. It would make a great gift too!

Does your family have books that you enjoy together?
Which ones? I would love to hear about and possible feature them.

*Book Adventure of the Week is a new weekly series here at Sweet Greens, where I would love to share some of the books from our own book shelves with you. If you have a book to recommend, I would love to hear about it, please send me a message to mysweetgreens@gmail.com.

    Hi Angie,
This book is not only fantastic for kids, but made me giggle outloud and I have to admit that I pulled some pranks on Mr. Sweet Greens myself.
