A surefire way to encourage a bonding session with Eben is to bake something with him. It’s a great way to get him all to myself for several minutes, and for whatever reason, he always seems to open up to me when we are baking. I get the 411 on all the goings-on in middle school, and the latest and greatest updates in teen novels too!
Last night, I was eager to try to make a vegan snickerdoodle cookie. Snickerdoodles have always been one of my favorites, and to make a healthier version was on my must-do list. This recipe is great to make with children because they will especially enjoy rolling the cookie balls in sugar and cinnamon and licking their fingers too. You can click here for the printable recipe and jump over to Inhabitots read on to get started making vegan, whole-wheat snickerdoodle cookies with your kids.
this is my hubby’s fav cookie too! I would worry with the whole wheat that it would be dry and crumbly…is it?
yeah…that has been my experience with whole wheat flour too…it is great for breads and cakes but in cookies it is always way too dry for me
