Secret Spring Hiking in South Florida

We love to spend at least one day of our weekend each week hiking or biking. I know that Florida is known for it’s amazing beaches – but the hiking and biking here is really fantastic too! We recently visited a private nature preserve that the mister was able to get access to. It was so peaceful and quiet, we didn’t see a single person the entire time that we were there. We did see a couple of deer and a fawn too.

I am pretty sure that Eben and Noodles had the most fun though – we stopped to have lunch in a large open meadow and the two were so funny. Eben would hide in the tall grasses and call Noodles name, she would search and search until she found him. Then, she would give him a kiss and run back to the mister and myself. It was adorable!

Do you have your favorite secret places to hike or bike? I would love to hear about them!

That looks like an ideal place to take a nice hike! Plus your weather looks incredible-I can’t wait until our weather gets nice like that. We actually have a local state park about 10 minutes from our house that I enjoy going to when the weather is warm ๐Ÿ™‚
